About Albertosaurus

Albertosaurus lived in the northwestern part of the North American Continent. Although smaller than Tyrannosaurus, Albertosaurus was no less frightful to its prey. It is believed that Albertosaurus may have actually been an early ancestor of Tyrannosaurus. Albertosaurus was a typical large Theropod (meat-eating dinosaur), with long, sharply serrated teeth for slicing into the flesh of its victims, short useless arms, and a massive head.
