Bagaceratops

About Bagaceratops

Bagaceratops was discovered in Omnogov, Mongolia, in 1975 by Teresa Maryanska and Halszka Osmolska. This dinosaur gets its name from its size. Bagaceratops was only about 1 meter in length, or roughly the size of a modern day rabbit, although Bagaceratops would have been more heavily built. Bagaceratops had a small horn on its snout as well as a small neck frill. Its hind legs were longer than its front legs. Bagaceratops had a sharp beak resembling the beak of a modern day parrot.
