About
Drinker
During the Late Jurassic Period, around 150 million years ago, a small plant eating dinosaur named Drinker lived near ancient swamps. This herbivore, or plant eating dinosaur was only about 6 feet long, or about the size of a full grown human man. This is small compared to many other dinosaurs.
Drinker was named in 1990 by Robert Bakker, in honor of Edward Drinker Cope. Edward Drinker Cope was one of the most famous paleontologists from North America, who discovered and named many dinosaurs during the 1800s.
Incomplete fossils for three animals have been discovered.
