About Muttaburrasaurus
Other than its curved beak-like mouth, Muttaburrasaurus was a typical iguanodontid. It used its unique mouth to scoop up plant material off of the ground and low lying plants. It than used flat teeth located in its cheeks to chew the plant material before swallowing.
It is believed that Muttaburrasaurus probably walked on its hind legs, using its tail to balance This would have left its long forearms free for feeding itself.
Muttaburrasaurus was discovered in Australia in 1963.
