About
Orodromeus
Compared to other dinosaurs Orodromeus was rather small. It was only 10 feet in length. Like other members of the ornithopoda group, Orodromeus had a toothless beak, used for cutting vegetation. Within its mouth Orodromeus had a set of teeth used for crushing and grinding food before swallowing.
The name Orodromeus means "Mountain Jumper". Like modern-day mountain sheep, this dinosaur probably spent its life leaping about from rock to rock foraging for food.
