About
Tarbosaurus
Tarbosaurus was believed for many years to be a separate species from Tyrannosaurus. However, recent studies indicate that it was probably a smaller version of Tyrannosaurus. For this reason, it has been renamed Tyrannosaurus Bataar.
This Dinosaur lived the life of a typical large Theropod: Chasing prey and scavenging for dead animal carcasses. Tarbosaurus lived in Asia, and may have actually been an early ancestor of the larger Tyrannosaurus that lived in North America.
